Forget all about the daily hassle! Here at our 5 star camping resort in Fréjus, we believe holidays should be about relaxing surrounded by generous nature in a peaceful, healing environment. To make sure our guests have the best holiday, our staff is at their beck and call to provide them with anything they desire!
From the first moment you arrive at reception, you will be given a warm, friendly welcome, the perfect way to switch into holiday mode after a long, gruelling trip. Once you have dropped your suitcases in your rental or tent, come and make the most of our many services available at our resort: a little grocer’s for your shopping, as well as a delivery of fresh bread and vienoisserie pastries every morning. A water-bus-shuttle (fare not included in booking) to transport you to the beach, rent out a bicycle from one of our rental services, and many more thrilling amenities just waiting to be used!
For a bite to eat or a cool, refreshing drink, head over to the bistronomic bar-restaurant of the Ecolodge Etoile d’Argens. With its two terraces, air-conditioned room and a rooftop for a proper breath of fresh air, “L’Olivier” restaurant offers a wide range of quality French cuisine packed with Mediterranean flavours inspired by the area’s local farmers.
And all these flowers blooming means we have plenty of nectar to gather! But seeing the faces of the visitors light up when they discover the beautiful piece of land me and my co-workers help brighten up makes it all worth it!

Fresh, regional, organic products available at the grocery shop
Our Ecolodge Etoile d’Argens grocery shop is 180 m² and well-stocked to allow you to spend an easy, self-sufficient holiday if you choose. Each morning, during the warm season, enjoy the luxury of fresh bread and warm croissants at 8 in the morning. As well as all the basic, daily essentials, our grocery shop also contains plenty of organic food from every food group. You can also find a certain number of local products such as Var wine, (Château Rouet, Le Teres ou Le Domaine du Bercail (all organic)); honey, and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Stock up your fridge as soon as you arrive! To start your holidays properly, we offer you the chance when booking your holiday to order one of two shopping packs to be delivered to your accommodation before you even arrive. Your shopping taken care of, so you have time to unpack and relax!
“L’Olivier” the bistronomic restaurant of the Ecolodge Etoile d’Argens Campsite in Fréjus
Located in an ideal spot right in the heart of our 5 star campsite in Var, the bistronomic restaurant L’Olivier invites you to try out a service of high-quality French cuisine bursting with Mediterranean flavours inspired by our local farmers and producers. Whenever possible, our resort prioritises local food that is the most organic possible. You will find one vegetarian meal per day at least listed on our daily menu. Recharging your batteries during your holiday is also about eating well!

A bike rental service is a also available at our 5 star campsite in Var.
Veloc Sud, a partner of the Ecolodge, provides us with a fleet of bicycles and electric bikes for rent by the week, the weekend or the day during your stay. It is recommended to make your reservation at least the day before the desired day.
How do I reserve one or more bikes?
The water-bus shuttle, your eco-friendly transport to the beach
The water-shuttle bus, an unusual transport service, unique to our Ecolodge Etoile d’Argens, will carry you over the water from the embarkation point all the way to the mouth of the Argens river,.the Mediterranean Sea and the Esclamandes Beach in just 20 minutes. During High Season, the shuttle makes between 4 and 8 trips per day, allowing our guests to access this soft, sandy beach without having to use their vehicle. An unforgettable mini-cruise that will carry you over to the best local beaches! For more information on the shutter timetable, depending on the period, ask at reception or check the signs. Cost of a round-trip crossing is 2€50 per person for anyone 12 years or over. Under-12’s travel for free. The river shuttle will be in operation until 24 September 2023.
Here at the Ecolodge, we welcome electric vehicles with open arms!
In keeping with our environmentally-friendly strategy, our 5 star camping resort in Fréjus dedicates itself to creating new developments yearly to help boost our guests’ well-being and their surrounding environment. One example are our electric car charging stations, freely available to all. Four Tesla car charging stations and two universal charging stations are available to our guests.
